Servitisation for a green transition: Practitioners' perspectives on Circular Economy
In its latest Impact Assessment report, the IPCC recognised circular economy as an increasingly important climate mitigation approach and called for policy makers to introduce systemic circular policies. Circular economy strategies can support a sustainable clean energy transition by helping to relieve mineral supply pressure, preventing new waste challenges, and accelerating the adoption of clean energy technologies. Product as a Service (PaaS) is one of the business models known to incentivise a shift to a circular economy. Applied to energy efficiency, it is known as Efficiency as a Service (EaaS).
On April 24th 2023, the EaaS Consortium will hold its second international virtual dialog which will explore the value of circular economy through interactions with stakeholders already engaged in a circular transition. The event will bring together experts and solution-providers, describing trends in servitization and their experience with deploying circular economy.
